Eram Garden the historic Persian Garden – Shiraz, Iran
“For I have learned that every heart will get what it prays for most.” – Hafez
Eram garden is a historic Persian garden in Shiraz, Iran. This garden belonged to the leaders of Qasqai tribe before the central government confiscated it. Built during the middle of the thirteen century by the Ilkhanate or the supreme chief of the Qashqai tribe of Pars. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage site too.
In my fourth day in Shiraz I visited Eram Garden late in the afternoon alone, before visiting Hafez tomb. I was amazed that the entrance fee was the same as the locals since in my previous travel in India (at the same year) their parks’ entrances for tourist are higher than for the locals.
I took the queue, it was easy going, the guards and the people who’s in-charge there we’re very welcoming and helpful. When I’m inside, after the entrance door, there was this guy who gave me a pamphlet and ask me something (I forgot already what he asked) and I tried not to accept the pamphlet. But he said that it’s free and if I need some help inside the park they were there to help. I smiled and thank him very much, I didn’t expect it. 🙂
The below photo was from a family I think who had a pictorials inside Eram garden. I really love the shots I’ve got and so I may post it here too. I just hide their faces for their privacy since I didn’t got a chance to asked them a click. Look at their traditional dresses, very beautiful! ♥
