Wadi Naqab is a nice place off-road destination located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. It is great for hiking and for camping as well. This hike needs SUV or 4X4 car to reached the starting point.
The wadi in our route have large boulders and a steep stairways that leads to the plateau. It is suitable for intermediate hikers. When you reached at the top there where farm and village. The view is amazing!

In this hike, at the village when we reached there few minutes after – it rained! Just few rain showers and it was beautiful! We ended the hike approx. 5pm with great hikers too.
In this hike we met Chinese hikers – that photo with flag where we were with them at the village (photo credit to the owner).
We end our hike approx. 7pm and for our dinner, we went to nearby restaurant in Ras Al Khaimah and ate Mandi! It was great! Delicious food we ate and with great people too. 🙂

Hi
I plan to do this trip with group of few but non of us has been there earlier. Is the route quite obvious one in wadi or there are chances of getting lost.
Would you like to come with us say in coming few days on a weekend.
Thanks
Sam

Hi Sam,
As for the route there are group of stones as markings on the way randomly placed (the time we hiked). For people who's been hiking oftentimes esp. in the desert mountains, I think the route would be easier to trace. But yeah, there's a possibility for getting lost. Better have your gps coordinates ready. :) Enjoy your adventure hike!
