Wadi Naqab and Bat Cave Hike – RAK
Wadi Naqab is a nice place off-road destination located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. It is great for hiking and for camping as well. This hike needs SUV or 4X4 car to reached the starting point.
The wadi in our route have large boulders and a steep stairways that leads to the plateau. It is suitable for intermediate hikers. When you reached at the top there where farm and village. The view is amazing!

I did hiked in Wadi Naqab (bat cave side) twice and it was all great. It was organized by Arabian FiTrekkers. On my first hike it was lead by Tarek and on my second hike lead by Faisi. Since I did it twice I will show some photos below based on dates.

November 25, 2018 10:38 amHi
I plan to do this trip with group of few but non of us has been there earlier. Is the route quite obvious one in wadi or there are chances of getting lost.
Would you like to come with us say in coming few days on a weekend.
Thanks
Sam

November 27, 2018 7:28 pmHi Sam,
As for the route there are group of stones as markings on the way randomly placed (the time we hiked). For people who’s been hiking oftentimes esp. in the desert mountains, I think the route would be easier to trace. But yeah, there’s a possibility for getting lost. Better have your gps coordinates ready. 🙂 Enjoy your adventure hike!
