“It is only in adventure that some people succeed in knowing themselves – in finding themselves.” Andre Gide
Wadi Mujib is one of the river in Jordan that enters to the ‘Dead Sea’, it is also known as ‘River Arnon’ in the Hebrew Bible. It is blessed with beautiful canyon inside and waterfall, good for canyoning. The Mujib reserve consists of mountainous, rocky, and sparsely vegetated desert [up to 800 metres (2,600 ft)], with cliffs and gorges cutting through plateaus. Perennial, spring-fed streams flow to the shores of the Dead Sea, 420 metres (1,380 ft) below sea level.
After DEAD SEA on the same day, our next trip was canyoning (canyoneering). Wadi Mujib’s entrance on that time was under construction but still open for adventures. The canyons are great! Really, we had fun! 😀 We paid individually for entrance of about 21 Jordanian Dinar that time (the only fee that was not free from our travel agent).
When travelling to Jordan and you love outdoor adventures, don’t forget to visit Wadi Mujib. The site is great and beautiful! You will surely love it. 🙂 Enjoy the video!
