The valley of Moses

WADI MUSA – literally called as the “valley of Moses” (in Arabic) is nicknamed as the guardian of PETRA, which is it’s nearest town.

BIBLICAL HISTORY – “And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.” – Numbers 20:11

As Christian of course, I can familiar some verses and check in the Holy Bible but those words mentioned above was also written in the Holy Quran with different representation (I think). I was with my Muslim friends and our driver. We talked some about these things since we were in Dead Sea about those history from Sodom and Gomorrah and Moses.  The good thing is, you discover some similarities, you got some ideas and open your mind more. I love these experienced and I love these people! 🙂

PRESENT – that time when we went there we met these local kids fetching some water in the spring. They were happy kids, there was an adult too with them. After them, we did fetched to taste the water and it was good. It was free so we keep some spring water in each of our bottles for the next days we stayed there.
